Atlantic College Wedding Photography

Atlantic College Wedding

This post contains a choice of our favorite images from the wedding of Lucy & Julian who were married at Atlantic College in the Vale of Glamorgan.  Lucy got ready in a room provided by Atlantic College with her mum and bridesmaids.  As Julian is from Germany, the day had a definite Bavarian feel to it.  The ceremony was held inside because of the weather, but everyone went outside in the windy condition after to have their drinks and hors d’oeuvres.  We were able to use areas both inside and outside the beautiful grounds at Atlantic College.  Lucy even braved the elements for an evening paddle in her wellies!!!

Brocket Hall Wedding Photography

Brocket Hall Wedding

A wedding photographed at Brocket Hall near Hatfield in Hertfordshire.  This was the first time we had photographed a wedding at Brocket Hall so we arrived early to have a good look around.  There was no need to worry as the grounds at Brocket Hall are beautiful with so many great opportunities for wedding photography both inside and out.  We didn’t have to worry about the weather either which is not something we’ve said much this year, it was the hottest day of the year so far and all the guests were able to really make the most of the surroundings.  We decide to use both inside and out to take the bridal portraits as we felt that this would show the venue off.

Miskin Manor Wedding Photography

Miskin Manor Wedding

These are a few of my favorite images from Gemma & Tom’s wedding photography at Miskin Manor near Llantrisant, South Wales.  The recent summer wedding of Gemma & Tom who flew home from Australia to get married at Miskin Manor in South Wales.  Amazingly for this summer the weather was beautiful and all their family and friends made the most of the lovely grounds at Miskin Manor.  As usual we were spoilt for choice to take the bridal wedding photographs and it was great to be able to use the extensive grounds and not have to worry about the rain.

Wedding Photography Llantwit Major

Wedding Photography Llantwit Major

Wedding photography as St. Illtud’s Church in Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan followed by a Marquee reception at Tresilian Bay between Llantwit Major and St. Donats.  We started at the house in Tresilian Bay where Pippa was getting ready with her mum, brother and bridesmaids.  Pippa was taken to St. Illtud’s Church in a horse and carriage which was great to capture as she was approaching down the narrow streets.  Luckily the rain held off long enough for us to get the wedding photography of the families at the church.  Pippa had noticed a farmers field of wheat on her way to the church so we stopped there for some bridal wedding photography on the way back to the house, the views over the channel were great.

Court Colman Wedding Photography

Court Colman Wedding

Wedding photography taken at Court Colman Manor near Bridgend in South Wales.  This wedding, photographed at Court Colman Manor was in May.  It was a civil ceremony so everything was at the one venue.  It was great to come back to Court Colman in the spring as the last time we were here was in a foot of snow so the wedding photographs couldn’t be more different.  We were able to really explore the grounds and the Bride and Groom were keen to have some more bridal portraits after they had eaten to take advantage of the lovely evening light and skies.

City Hall Wedding Photography Cardiff

City Hall Wedding Photography

A wedding from the Spring at St. Denys Church, Lisvane followed with the reception at City Hall Cardiff.  After leaving the church and driving towards Cathays Park, just behind the City Hall the heavens opened in typical April fashion.  Luckily by the time we arrive another window in the weather appeared and we were able to take the Bridal Wedding Photography in the beautiful gardens, the Tulips were in full bloom and there was plenty of cherry blossom on the trees to add to the amazing colours.  The wedding breakfast was served on the marble terrace of the City Hall and the lovely green theme really looked effective.  A band took on the responsibility of the evening entertainment and it didn’t take long for all the guests to get into the spirit of the occasion.

South Wales Wedding Photography

South Wales Wedding Photography

This post contains a choice of our favorite images from the South Wales wedding photography of Sophie & Ash at St. Mary’s Church, Magor followed by a Marquee reception in Sophies parent’s garden.  Sophie got ready at her parents house and kept herself busy by doing her own plus her bridesmaids make up.  Transport was provided for Sophie & Ash’s South Wales wedding by C & E Wedding Car Hire.  We took a few family portraits at the church after the ceremony and finished them off back at the house.  It was great to have the help of local toastmaster Bruno Cook throughout the day.  There was some lovely evening light, so we took some more bridal portraits in a nearby field that we spotted earlier in the day. Marquee Wedding Details:  Dress Ronald Joyce.  Flowers Deacons Chepstow.  Shoes Benjamin Adams.  Cake Celtic Cakes.  Marquee County Marquees.
