Another gorgeous day photographing at De Courceys Manor for the fabulous wedding of Hazel & Mark!  We were delighted when they asked us to photograph their wedding as Sacha knows Mark from School (a long time ago!!) so it was always going to be a lot of fun catching up with old friends and making new ones!  We arrived at their home in Radyr where Hazel was getting ready with her Mum, Dad, Sister, Bridesmaids and Flower Girl!  Haddy Beathom from Urban Decay was applying make up and Taryn was completing the dos, there was a lot of laughter and fun going on – which pretty much set the scene and that is how it remained for the rest of the day.Continue reading

Cardiff Wedding Photographer De Courceys – Sabrina & Matthew

So, De Courceys is the venue that Sabrina & Matthew chose for their lovely wedding!   Caerleon was the starting point at Sabrina’s parent’s house, where Jenna prepared hair & make up for Sabrina, her Mum, Jayne, her Sister, Georgina and her Bridesmaid Lydia, they then all helped Sabrina in to her Maggie Sotterro dress from All About Eve adding jewellery and the veil before we took some photographs of them all with the view out of the window overlooking the River Severn!   It was a short drive to St Julian’s Church, Newport where we caught up with Matthew’s family and Sabrina & Matthew’s very cute son, Logan, who was 17 months old!  The service was lovely and after taking a few photographs after the ceremony at the church the happy couple were driven to De Courceys in fabulous cars from Perfect Day Wedding Cars  We had a beautiful sunny day so all of the photographs could be taken outside, before and after the wedding breakfast, which was perfect for the little treat that they had planned for the guests!  Sabrina & Matthew released 2 doves provided by Lovey Dovey followed by Sabrina throwing her bouquet supplied by Hilarys Flowers.  The whole day was captured by Craig & Abbie from Diamond Cut Wedding Videos  Before the evening got started Sabrina & Matthew cut their cake, a gorgeous 3 tier sponge cake decorated with sugar flowers, it was from Celtic Cakes Studio.  The DJ provided the fab tunes for their First Dance and got the guests dancing straight afterwards, there were flip flops provided for aching feet, what a thoughtful thing to do!

These are a few of our favourite images from the recent wedding of Katie & Brian photographed at De Courceys Manor in Pentyrch, Cardiff, South Wales.  Katey started her day at her mums house with her sister and mum helping her get ready and Victoria from MAC doing her make up.  We then met Brian at De Courceys prior to their Civil Ceremony.  The weather was against us again and we were only able to take a few shots outside under the umbrella, so we took the remainder of the Bridal portraits and the family portraits in the available rooms at De Courceys.  We were with Katey and Brian right up until their first dance, so were able to cover the speeches and the arrival of more evening guests.

De Courceys Wedding

A wedding photographed at De Courceys Manor in Pentyrch, Cardiff, South Wales.  Carolyn started her day getting ready at her parents house with a few close family members. Carolyn and Graeme were married at Christ Church in Radyr, Cardiff.  Their reception was held at De Courceys Manor nearby.  The family portraits were taken in the grounds of De Coureys upon arrival of all their guests.  We were with Carolyn and Graeme right the way through to the first dance so we were able to take advantage of some lovely evening sunlight for there bridal portraits.
