At St David’s Hotel, the wedding breakfast tables were named after landmarks in Paris, the location for this romantic couple’s proposal! On their wedding day we started at Kate & Rich’s home where hair was being done & Kate, her Mum and her Bridesmaids applied their own make up. Kate then stepped in to her beautiful St Patrick Hannela Wedding dress from High Society BridalShop in Cowbridge helped by Mum & Bridesmaids – whose dresses were from the Dessy range & also from High Society. We just had to drive a couple of minutes away to the Baptist church to meet up with Rich, his family, Best Man & Ushers, who looked so smart in their grey suits also from High Society with cravats to match the Bridesmaids. The church has a real affection in Kate’s family’s hearts as it is where her late Grandfather attended, the ceremony date was also his birthday, the service was lovely. We experienced a little shower just after the confetti had been thrown outside the church gate but luckily the skies brightened up on our way to Cardiff and we were able to photograph the gorgeous couple and their families and friends outside in the sunshine! Des Johnston was on hand helping to organise the guests on behalf of St David’s Hotel, we are always spoilt for choice of options of locations in and around the hotel to photograph from the grand foyer, to the grounds in front and to the side of the hotel, to the board walk surrounding it, to the tasteful & luxurious bedrooms. The guests enjoyed a slide show of photographs from Kate & Rich’s lives as children and growing up, including images taken by us on their pre-wedding shoot! After the tasty wedding breakfast, the hotel looked after us with lovely food too, they cut their stunning cake made by Emma Jane and soon after the hotel prepared the reception room for the evening proceedings, Kate & Rich took to the dancefloor to perform their First Dance, with a surprise for Rich, Kate had recorded the track ‘How long will I love you’ by Ellie Goulding. She has an amazing voice and it brought a tear to many guests eyes as well as Kate’s Mum! Can’t wait to catch up with them upon their return from their honeymoon to Dubai & Mauritus.

Here are a few of our favourite images from Parisa & Tim’s wedding at Cardiff Castle & St. David’s Hotel, Cardiff Bay. Starting at their home in Newport, where Parisa was having her make up applied by a MAC make up artist and being helped in to her dress by her Bridesmaids who were all wearing mocha coloured dresses from ‘Suits You!’ Parisa’s dress was a beautiful lace creation from ‘All About Eve’. It was a stunning blue sky & sunny day, perfect for their ceremony setting at Cardiff Castle. We met up with Tim and his Best Man and Ushers who were all in smart Navy suits from Slater’s Menswear. The wedding was just over a year from the proposal which took place at The Newbridge On Usk and Parisa’s engagement ring was made form a diamond that they purchased in New York and then had made by ‘Diamond Geezer’ a company owned by Dragon’s Den James Khan!! After the ceremony all the guests enjoyed the shade around the Castle grounds and it is here that we photographed the whole group of guests and then the family photographs. After spending time with Parisa and Tim utilising the beautiful Castle inside & out for their Bridal portraits we then headed off to St David’s Hotel Cardiff where the guests were waiting for them to throw their confetti and enjoy their Wedding breakfast! The evening entertainment was provided by the fab band Pelican Groove who had everyone up dancing straight after the First Dance!.
