Here is a first look at some of our favourite images from Sarah & Paul’s wedding at the Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel near Usk. Sarah & Paul travelled all the way from Brisbane Australia!!!! Paul came home with Sarah who is Australian, to reaffirm their vows with their 2 children and Sarah’s family & Bridesmaids in tow! We started out at the Park Plaza Hotel in Cardiff with Sarah and her Bridesmaids where she had her make up applied by the excellent Kirsty from MAC make Up also with her Mum & dad and Nan and Paul’s Mum helping out with preparations. At the hotel we met up with Paul and his family and groomsmen who were all wearing kilts! The ceremony and reception were both at The Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel in Usk and they had a Humanist ceremony, the first one we have ever photographed! Sarah & her Dad and Bridesmaids were transported to the venue in a 1935 Vauxhall BXL 7 passenger Limousine from Henrietta Hire. After the ceremony the guests had drinks in the courtyard and we were able to photograph their family & friends photographs in the lovely grounds, Sarah & Paul also had a ride in the car in the surrounding countryside. As a surprise miniature ponies were instroduced to the lovely couple to present a ‘lucky horseshoe’! The whole day was captured on video by Andrew O’Leary from SLR Creations. Sarah & Paul then spent a fabulous week in Paris for their honeymoon.

Here are a few of our favourite images from Parisa & Tim’s wedding at Cardiff Castle & St. David’s Hotel, Cardiff Bay. Starting at their home in Newport, where Parisa was having her make up applied by a MAC make up artist and being helped in to her dress by her Bridesmaids who were all wearing mocha coloured dresses from ‘Suits You!’ Parisa’s dress was a beautiful lace creation from ‘All About Eve’. It was a stunning blue sky & sunny day, perfect for their ceremony setting at Cardiff Castle. We met up with Tim and his Best Man and Ushers who were all in smart Navy suits from Slater’s Menswear. The wedding was just over a year from the proposal which took place at The Newbridge On Usk and Parisa’s engagement ring was made form a diamond that they purchased in New York and then had made by ‘Diamond Geezer’ a company owned by Dragon’s Den James Khan!! After the ceremony all the guests enjoyed the shade around the Castle grounds and it is here that we photographed the whole group of guests and then the family photographs. After spending time with Parisa and Tim utilising the beautiful Castle inside & out for their Bridal portraits we then headed off to St David’s Hotel Cardiff where the guests were waiting for them to throw their confetti and enjoy their Wedding breakfast! The evening entertainment was provided by the fab band Pelican Groove who had everyone up dancing straight after the First Dance!.

Here are a few of our favourite images from our latest wedding of Gemma & Matt at St Mary’s Church in Whitchurch and then at The New House Country Hotel, Thornhill, Cardiff. Gemma got ready at her Parent’s house in Thornhill, helped by her bridesmaids, who also were responsible for her lovely hair & make up!. The sun kindly popped it’s hat on which makes everyone feel relieved and adds to the happiness of the occasion. The house was lovely & light and made it easy to photograph the morning’s proceedings and the conservatory provided the backdrop for the family & bridesmaids photographs. The bridesmaids looked gorgeous in long mocha coloured dresses which were from High Society in Cowbridge, really complimented Gemma’s beautiful weddind gown. Added to the ensemble were 4 flower girls and a page boy who are Gemma & Matt’s nieces & nephews and a bridesmaid’s daughter! Matt, his best man and Ushers and his & Gemma’s Dad looked really smart dressed in grey suits with cream waistcoats and pink cravats to match the bridal bouquetflowers that Gemma’s Auntie had arranged – though Matt stood out as the only one to wear a cream cravat! The gift bouquets for the Mums and key family & friends were supplied by Covent Garden Florists. The cake was made by a good friend as was the place names. The ceremony took place in St Mary’s Church, Whitchurch, Cardiff, the service was taken by Canon Chancellor John Rowlands. Matt’s family are parishioners at the church so it was a very personal ceremony. After the ceremony we were able to take some photographs outside the church, particularly the traditional ‘confetti’ shot just outside under the litch gate. Guests then made their way to The New House Country Hotel for drinks and canapes. We shot all of the family portraits in front of the hotel, utilising the magnificent view over Cardiff which made a great backdrop. We also had time to shoot a few Bridal Portraits of Gemma & Matt before the wedding breakfast and speeches commenced in the Wyndham Suite, which boasts it’s own terrace with the amazing view. Table decorations provided by Emma Hall Designs, Colwinston. We also took advantage of some lovely early evening light to capture a few more bridals and have a bit of fun with the Hen & Stag party friends. The evening entertainment was provided by the resident DJ Alan Griffiths who got everyone up dancing the night away!!!

This post contains a choice of our favourite images from the wedding of Eleanor & Ross who had their wedding at Canada Lakes, Creigiau, Cardiff. We started the day meeting Ross and the boys at Canada Lakes, prior to the arrival of Eleanor in a white Rolls Royce. The weather was amazing for December with clear blue skies, lovely and warm (in the sun anyway!). We were able to shoot all the bridal portraits and the few group shots outside after the ceremony, taking advantage of the low winter sunshine to add a dramatic back lighting. Eleanor and Ross wedding details as follows: Dress High Society, Cowbridge. Shoes Benjamin Adams. Suits Dyfed Menswear. Bridesmaids Dresses in Plum Coast. Rings Parkhouse Jewellers. These are a few of our favourite images from the recent wedding of Katie & Brian photographed at De Courceys Manor in Pentyrch, Cardiff, South Wales. Katey started her day at her mums house with her sister and mum helping her get ready and Victoria from MAC doing her make up. We then met Brian at De Courceys prior to their Civil Ceremony. The weather was against us again and we were only able to take a few shots outside under the umbrella, so we took the remainder of the Bridal portraits and the family portraits in the available rooms at De Courceys. We were with Katey and Brian right up until their first dance, so were able to cover the speeches and the arrival of more evening guests.
Cardiff wedding photographer Andy Stoyle and his wife Sacha have chosen a few of their favourite wedding photographs from Ruth & Marco’s wedding. Ruth got ready in their home in Barry with her close family. A vintage coach transported the guests to and from the church. The wedding mass took place at St. Owain’s Church in Ystradowen. After the ceremony we took the bridal photographs in a copse of trees in a field adjacent to the church. We then had a request to take a shot of Marco & Ruth with their staff at Marco’s Cafe on the seafront at Barry Island, a first for this Cardiff wedding photographer.
These are a few of our favourite wedding photos from Sheena & Nathan’s wedding at The Vale Hotel & Spa Hotel near Llantrisant. Sheena got ready at the Vale Hotel & Spa with her close family and friend. The ceremony was an intimate affair at Castell Coch in Tongwynlais. We took a few family and bridal portraits at the castle before heading back to the Vale Hotel & Spa for the wedding reception. The weather was fantastic and everyone enjoyed being outside, with the guests being treated to champagne and popcorn. Wedding details: Dress and shoes by Allison Jayne, Suits by Dyfed Menswear, Rings by Fraser Hart Crouch, Bridesmaids dresses by High Society Cowbridge.

This post contains a choice of our favourite images from the wedding of Natalie & Russell who had their wedding at Castell Coch, Tongwynlais, Cardiff. Natalie got ready at her mother’s house with her mum and two sisters helping. The civil ceremony took place in the drawing room at Castell Coch. After the ceremony we were able to take a few shots inside the drawing room before the public have access. We took all the family portraits in the courtyard. We were able to take all the bridal portraits in and around the amazing Castell Coch grounds. Natalie and Russell then left for a family meal at the Crown at Whitebrook.
A wedding froCity Hall Cardiff Weddingm the Spring at St. Denys Church, Lisvane followed with the reception at City Hall Cardiff. After leaving the church and driving towards Cathays Park, just behind the City Hall Cardiff the heavens opened in typical April fashion. Luckily by the time we arrive another window in the weather appeared and we were able to take the Bridal Wedding Photography in the beautiful gardens, the Tulips were in full bloom and there was plenty of cherry blossom on the trees to add to the amazing colours. The wedding breakfast was served on the marble terrace of the City Hall Cardiff and the lovely green theme really looked effective. A band took on the responsibility of the evening entertainment and it didn’t take long for all the guests to get into the spirit of the occasion.
